Munster squeak it after leading 24-0 at the half. Lucky for them Saints were totally asleep until the second half, then it was just too late.

Awful first half, much better second - although I thought the calls to go for goal with the last two pens was stupid, especially the final one. Dingwall made a difference when he came on.
On the maul at the end of the game that got turned over to end the game - I always thought that the ball went to the team that caught it if it was gathered from a kick and then turned into a maul and couldn't be played?

From an open play kick, you are correct, but it doesn't count from a restart. Besides, it would've been game over regardless of who the scrum was awarded to.
