Apparently Wasps have made Kurtley "Professional" Beale the highest paid rugby player in England.

Good luck with that.

A excellent player but I do question if NH rugby will suit him.

On the money reported, it's madness for a player that will never have a preseason with us.

Smacks of a desperation to sign a marquee player. Big gamble.

The local rag will be licking their lips with him and Cips coming to town.

They will do well to manage the 'team ethic' that seems to have been inspired by Smith, with those two incoming.

I think it was 2003 before I even had my own computer, it's a hard knock life for some.

When he's not doing stupid things outside rugby and when he's on form, Beale is a great player. He could do very well at Wasps. On the other hand, if he starts to party with Danny ..............

Well it's a gamble, an expensive one, and one they didn't need to take. I suppose Dai is going for it which in some ways is commendable, sink or swim time come next season.

That's a pretty broad brush you are wielding there slim! God help you if an entire hemisphere is typecast like that.

Beale can run and pass a ball at the same time, if that is what you mean.

Certainly a great addition to the Premiership. Wasps should continue to be plenty of fun to watch next year.

KB out for 6-12 months apparently. Even at this early stage I think it's fair to say the deal hasn't quite panned out

Do you think wasps can claim they had their fingers crossed while signing the contract so it doesn't count?

I wonder if there's some kind of get-out clause based on injury?

He probably already had a medical which means they are screwed. An amazing waste of money.

bad luck, even if a slightly misguided signing in the first place.

Except insurance will cover it, I would think, so have lost out on the player rather than money
