Slipper = 20% of caps in Australia RWC squad

45% of squad have 0-5 caps

Ah. I’ve figured it out.

Due to an administrative error, Jones has actually named Australia’s RWC2027 squad.

Oh you sweet summer child. Josh Kemeny, the other "utility" is selected to cover the entire back row... and wing. Yeah.

Injury apparently, but then, there's Taniela Tupou among the props, who was one of the two Wallabies tightheads that got fucked up playing the All Blacks in Melbourne.
I'm a god
How can you kill a god?
Shame on you, sweet Nerevar

Where's Pete Samu? I am actually okay with them moving on from Hooper to McReight, but Samu has real X factor.

Assistant coach has quit, too. Seems to be legit family reasons (hopefully nothing tragic), rather than Eddie being Eddie.

My god he’s such a little bitch.

I thought I’d find that sort of thing funny now Aus were having to deal with it. I even thought he might shock everyone and give them an edge, at least through the World Cup, but that’s looking less and less likely.

I don’t know how direct those quotes are but it reads like he’s totally lost his head.

Amazing how many of his assistant coaches have family or personal reasons for leaving working with him. There was a revolving door for England and this is the second one he's lost already in his brief Wallabies tenure.

It's entirely possible this one is genuine, but it's definitely part of a trend.

It's not a total rant, but it's not great.

Gods, what a grade A prick in a stupid hat. Acting like it's a ridiculous demand to ask about reports that he didn't have the courtesy to even ring the country's best player when abruptly dropping him. Interrupting people by demanding in a louder and louder voice that they "Keep going!" every time they try to start a question.

I don't care how Steep Backslide goes this RWC - any price is worth paying not to have to deal with that (with the possible exception of losing to them in the quarters).

I'm actually looking at putting a bet on them going out in the pools tbh.

Shag is helping out the angry Ewok Wallaby coach with his WC preparation. Unpaid, apparently. What are the odds on Shag taking an England role?

I think we are pretty much fucked. Especially after the morale-boosting Bok result.

Not often that I look at an opposition squad and covet most of their players
