Somewhat overshadowed by the men's RWC, but the Ferns are taking on Aussie this afternoon. Should be good.

I suppose, but these matches have always been one-sided beatdowns. You can only watch the Black Ferns stomp all over the Wallaroos and beat them 40-0 or whatever so many times before it loses its novelty, you know?

That's the problem with the women's game right now. England, NZ, and France can play each other and there will be some doubt about what the result will be - any other match up for one of those three becomes one-way traffic.

There was a netball game on afterwards, and honestly, right now, Australia are in that position where they'd go into most games as deserved favourites, but NZ, England and Jamaica can all tip them and each other over on their day.

Yeah, and the CWC is about to start, too. Another Aussie benefit show, unless India can screw the scrum enough.

The Silver Ferns barely saved face after whinging about a "second string" England team.
