Feels a bit cheap that Bris snuck into this through the back door, but could be a good game with two sides both looking to get some kind of form going!

Well this was a fun game. Bristol made a ridiculously hard job of it. Sheedy refusing to take a shot at the drop goal until they were a couple of metres from the line and then smashing it over pretty much summed things up.

Incredible game. 33-16 up 60 minutes in, Lyon somehow getting to 33-34 with a 77th minute try, then Bristol win with an 84th minute drop goal. Bristol worked very hard to try and lose that, but just fell short.

Mad. Bristol did really well to work their way up the field to get the drop goal chance but goodness the way they fell apart and let Lyon back in was dreadful.
Great fun all the same.

Bristol are such a mentally frail side, how they can (nearly) chuck away another 20 point lead..

Perhaps finally regathering and closing it out will add a bit of resilience to them.
