Nice of London Scottish to lend Cameron Anderson back :) :)

I was wondering when he’d had 3 appearances?

Interesting that Glaws drop the sizeable Max Llewellyn for the game Vs Big Andre and bring back in Seb Atkinson who's got to be a good stone and a half lighter. That's certainly backing Seb's defensive capabilities.

IIRC, Atkinson made his Worcester debut vs Esterhuizen and did very well. Furbank did a good job of shackling him recently too.

I've no issues with Atkinson's defence. Big opportunity for him today. Mercer v Dombrandt could be interesting.

That’s how, in part, you attract new spectators. What a pre match. Just got to hope the rugby lives up to it.
Beard isn’t normally a 13, correct?

I believe it's his preferred position - he has played on the wing and that's where his first appearances were, but it's not where his future is seen.

Dombrandt 1 vs 0 Mercer

Emphatic as the test career ending non tackle by Dombrandt vs DVDM.

Don't know where the TMO is, should be helping out Leal with that knock on from Green. 100% he should be in the bin for that. If it was closer to the try line there'd be an argument for a penalty try as well.

Mercer won't like seeing Dombrant brush him off from that contested chip from Care. Glaws fringe rick defence was appalling though, just watched Care up and wander 5m in field without even moving.

Quins look very much up for this. Far more so than Glaws.

Agreed. The commentary salivating over Care, but that was shocking defence from Glaws. The midfield defence pushed up and the fringe defence decided to give him all the time in the world.

That's a hell of a tackle from Beard - absolute textbook.

Looked planned to drive the Quins play back towards the tight unless all 2/3 tight defenders were being lazy which, given Glos form, may be possible.
Quality from Care, regardless. Take what the defence gives you, as the NFLers would say.

Always wondered what happened to the Sherminator. I didn’t expect a career change to play 9 at Glos!

And he’s played well. Another one to add to the possible future Eng 13 discussion, perhaps.

Marcus Smith has to be England’s 10. No debate. If Stultifyingly Boringrugby can’t make it work then sack him.
Yes, the first bottle of red has riojacheted into a second.

Goal kicking was bit ropey but did a nice little game management right between the posts to help close the game out.

True but his % is up where it should be and the rest of the skill set…

Eh, play him at 12. Any good 13 can be played at 12 nowadays.

Nah, only big 13s can be shunted into 13 and look as it they've always played there. Freeman to 12 any day now.

Hastings is really quite average

McGuigan stood out for Glaws.

Agreed. Anybody watching these players for the first time would have queried the apparent ranking of the two hookers.

I've never understood Hastings's rating.

Atkinson looks to have lost form badly at just the wrong time.
