French teams at home are normally strong to be fair. Bordeaux also have a good side. Tigers got stuffed though and Sarries are on the ropes already, not good.

Bordeaux's backline is a great watch isn't it. Outside of Lucu all in their early to mid twenties. Could be years of quality from them.

Daly and Farrell: Stereotwat.

Sarries perhaps fortunate that UBB have taken their foot off the gas.

UBB decide to wake up for the final 5 mins and score a couple more tries. The UBB backs are so in tune and hungry for the ball.

Bordeaux were sensational.

Saracens are a shadow of the side that won in Europe and dominated the English game.

Farrell was disastrously bad but there werent many Saracens who emerged with much credit.

Even allowing that Sarries were on the back foot, that was a howler from Farrell. Slow, dull, no playmaking contributions at all, content to simply shovel the ball on, throw awful passes, kick poor kicks etc... The poor lad looks done physically and psychologically. Why would any French club be remotely interested?

The French team were enjoying themselves, rather than scowling and flapping their arms at the ref. There is a non-pantomime template for motivation in there somewhere. I will never say this again, but I wish France had won the World Cup. Now I feel dirty.

Farrell chip kicking into the chest of an oncoming defender resulting in a try for the BBs just summed up the difference in intent. Imagine being stuck between Farrell and Daly in the midfield. Tompkins did really well considering. That young Sarries hooker looks good value (Forrest Gumping down the touchline was gold), if we are talking positivity and enjoyment.
