TOM DE GLANVILLE
Tom fractured a bone in his foot in the Leinster Rugby game on Friday (15 March) and will require surgery. It is anticipated that this injury and subsequent rehabilitation will sideline Tom for around 10 weeks.

Re: Bath v Exeter Saturday 3pm
Or simple selectorial decision for this match.
JvG's first choice would have Stuart starting, with Du Toit on the bench, and Stooke way ahead of Roux at lock.
NB: "Tight Five Rugby" doesn't speak for Bath, who's own press announcement doesn't seem to mention the phrase "full strength" anywhere that I can see.
I guess "Pretty Strong" doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

That looks a really good Exeter XV apart from the 9 and 10. I think they need new blood in those positions.

Bath are very error prone - mostly from trying stuff.
Weather is due to be horrendous, which isn't going to suit us.
I'd still go for a Bath win, but I also think it'll be tight - probably one of those that's "tighter than it looks like it should have been"

Feels like Brantingham and Johnson might've been better going down the M5 than they were the M1. I'm not convinced Saracens is going to be the best place for their game-time needs, whereas they would've got a lot at Exeter.

Think Beconsall looks a good prospect at SH. Pity he's injured. Haydon-Wood has been largely ignored - even when fit - which is surprising given Skinner looks a very average player.

Sam is still on the books, but he hasn't played all season. Jack was released end of last season and is now at Melbourne Rebels.
Shame they never kicked on, as they were promising.

I think Cairns is a decent scrum half. Not likely to get international recognition but still tidy.fivepointer wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 5:46 pmThink Beconsall looks a good prospect at SH. Haydon-Wood looked good off the bench (bar one awful goal line drop out) last weekend in a losing cause. Be interesting to see if he gets more minutes this week on the back of it. Skinner really is solid club player material.

Looks like Storm BloodyRidiculousNames is due to hit at around kick-off, running pretty much straight up and down the pitch.
So will be a game of 2 halves, and if it's slightly late, a lot could depend on the toss.
Nice deep 22s down there as well.

Surely having the national coach watching isn't going to make that much of a difference, no matter what time he turns up?Which Tyler wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 9:36 am Looks like Storm BloodyRidiculousNames is due to hit at around kick-off, running pretty much straight up and down the pitch.
