Glaws going with the "sod the league" approach still then. Record score for Saints incoming.

Saints should be able to secure the home semi tomorrow, just hope we don't pick up any more injuries or pick up any bans. Good to have both Sleightholme and Odendaal back. Odendaal had started coming into some really good form prior to injury after a bit of a slow start to his Saints career. Sleightholme has been exceptional recently and someone we definitely want fit and firing for play offs

TBF, their league season is over, but they're still in Europe, and looking to blood youngsters ahead of next year. Just like Tigers and a few others did in 2020

The Glos approach makes sense. Give some starters a rest, give game time to those who've been on the bench and bring in a few youngsters.
They will probably get a hiding, but their first choice XV might have copped that too.

Yeah I don't blame them. Skivs has been pretty clear that the league is gone and they want the double. This is an away game as well so not like the season ticket holders are there (got to keep the home fans happy).

Just think it's going to be a brutal game for the lads involved against that Saints side.

Incidentally, when Tigers did it Borthwick was trying to work out who to keep and who to cut from the squad. Skivs having been in post for a while probably doesn't have that problem.

90 - 0. Got to feel for the Glos players there. Very odd decision for them to take a kick at goal at 80 points down, which Atkinson then missed.

Think we got through that without any injuries, which is the main thing.

The expected massacre came to pass then. Charlie Atkinson kicking at goal is anything other than a certainty, they'd be better off kicking for touch. Maybe wanted to avoid being nilled.

Blimey. Think we all thought Glos were unlikely to get anything out of the game but 90-0!

That tracks with his time at Tigers. Seemed a nice guy, definitely got some skill but kicking for goal was sub par.
