Thanks mate, appreciate the push. It all helps in filling the gaping funding holes, and in fairness to the RFU, they've been very helpful.

It was a brilliant match, our u19's got a bit cocky cos Japan didn't get off the bus til 15 minutes in; great set of lads on both sides. Shame the RFU don't give caps at this age level, Japan do.

What was the actual score? I've scoured the Internet and there's not been a single mention of the outcome of the game although many mentions of it happening from beforehand.

Yeah, we recognise it, same as U17s, but don’t cap it for some reason, leaving that purely for U18 and U20.

Any stand outs for you performance wise on the England team?

It's annoying, but there's only so much you can expect from a bloke in the stands with a phone camera.
You can hear the stadium announcer for a fair few of the score updates though.

Sharp and Caluori were outstanding going forward. Sharp was motm, just ahead of Japans left wing. Crowd loved it, not so much defence coaches ;)

Sharp is very classy. Not sure where he’ll end up position wise but it seems like 15 is a good place to build into adult rugby.
