Yup, a real link to the past and an absolute gentleman, I will miss him a great deal
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Yes his Tue chart run-down was one of the week's high spots when taking an interest in music.Heard Bob H announce his passing which was touching.Mrs G big fan from his early R1 days
& G jnr. always tuned in to his more recent stuff which was nice.
( didn't know he was 'Peter Dingley' and played rugby at Solihull school - will give a special mention for both of these.)
Another true legend from a special time - RIP.
