David Lynch has passed away. His health was in decline after problems with emphysema due to years of smoking.

Was a legend, really. I loved Twin Peaks.

And his really weird video making quinoa was surreal.

Blue velvet is amazing, the younger you see it the better

Legendary artist. A genius of cinema and TV. I remember being stunned by Eraserhead in my teens. All those unique, nightmarish films. And then Twin Peaks (including 2017's The Return), just brilliant. I guess at 78 he wasn't taken much before his time but still, the world could have done with another decade of Lynch. Irreplaceable.
