Post by BBD »

The Lions is an outdated anachronism from the amateur era and has no place in the modern professional game - Discuss

That's quite good, but seems to be an amalgam of plans against the wrong teams.

You can see the Lions in red Gatballing back and forth across the field without making huge progress. The Pumas (blue) and Boks (green) are running more directly down the field, while the Wallabies (yellow) mill about in their own 22 looking lost until one of them hoofs it ineffectually at the opposition back 3.

On the other hand, he does have the lions scoring a try in the right hand corner, completely unrelated to the run of play; I'm guessing a cross field kick there, probably Farrel as it obviously didn't go to hand, and needed the cavalry to set a few phases before ducking over.

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
