Great play from Japan. Slade did very well. There's no doubt we are in a game and we look a bit screwed, we barely have the ball.

Who thinks Ford will be sacrificed for having no ball to play with?

Yeh but with Farrell at 10 he will bring a structure that has brought us some much success....

Truly awful so far. Full credit to Japan but we’ve been unbelievably bad.

We can’t even really call it a B team when there’s a good chunk of first choice players in there.

And his Iceman kicking stats and amazing 'ten missed tackles' defending.

It wouldn’t surprise me. I couldn’t believe how simple and effective we made it look to go forwards with him picking out forward runners at the beginning, then it all sort of went to shit. I’m sure it’s his fault.

Lol! What a fucking shambles.

Japan showing us no shortage of skill, composure and how a team plays as a team.

11 changes. Muppet Jones

Sir Clive is right about Danny Care. (As much as I hate to agree with him)

What horseshittery is this? There is more intensity in my lower intestine. With so many players putting their hands down, the biggest worry is how good this makes the fellas on the bench look - pure manna for the Faz lovers.

I haven't managed the whole half but I feel like our forwards are playing shunt. I'd make 3 changes. Underhill for Ewels, Sinck on, Moon on.

The forwards have either simply not bothered, or hit the panic button, which makes it tough to judge any of the backs.
But I'm going to judge Care anyway - worst player on the pitch

Think i'm going to take avdrink: everytime care makes a mistake and everytime rr mentiobs farrell and he's not the pitch.

Japan are good value.

Interesting stat - England are the only Home Nations team who haven't given an Engkish-born back his international debut this AI period.

Looks like Japan prayed instead of trained...

Or perhaps we have drastically underestimated the opposition?

Underhill on is good.

Mercer off is... erm... our best backrow today (low bar).

This forum needs to calm in the Farrell stuff, it's relentless. He's a good fly half, so is Ford, why the constant page by page Farrell bashing?

We'll calm down when Barnes et al calm down the Farrell-loving.

Besides, we all acknowledge that Farrell is a competent FH

Pretty much Farrell is a good 10.
But the way the media and general rugby public talk about him it’s like he is a world class 10 in the class of Sexton or something
