Lame quoting myself but thought maybe this belonged here. Has anyone actually seen any updates on our injuries? Maybe nobody feels the need to say anything at the moment as there's a week off but it always seems very quiet from the Scotland camp regarding updates on injuries to anyone other than Hogg.

Just in time, I have had a quiet morning on the Scotsman website. Nel and Watson will both play some role this weekend and be available (if not that fit) for next week. VDM probably out but not for long (gash on knee). Scott and Barclay both targetting Leinster on 22 March (week before cup quarter).

Jones I think was longer term (def out 6 nations I thought). Fagerson continuing his comeback this week too but Gibbens and VDM still out.

Skinner would be nice to see in at least one 6N match.

Some promising signs in the two line ups for the weekend.

Watson starts at 7, Nel starts at 3 & Bennett on bench for Edinburgh with Fagerson starting for Glasgow, Ashe benched & mini Horne not involved which makes me wonder if the latter two are being held back a bit.

G Horne has a shoulder injury.

Just do one, Hugh. I've once again accepted that we are still terrible and always will be. Posts like this just give me this nagging feeling that we might turn it all around.

Ah. That's more like it. He's just injured. Of course. Good.

Excitng that both Nel and Watson are ready to start. Feared they would just get a few minutes. Bennett being eased back in probably makes sense especially with Dean and Johnson going well together. Still think, in theory at least, Scott and Johnson will be a big step up though.

Even before injury I'd say Johnstone was in possession of the shirt but great he's back, big step up from Socino (Or however it's spelt). Blain being talked up over on PR.
