20 mins @ 14 and you don't score. You don't deserve to win.

Be nice.

They have done a great job of drawing us into a dog fight, but the defence has been great.

Ardie Savea is the future of the 7 jersey IMO.

He is the only loose forward that has really cowboyed up to the Irish three.

Bloody good contest. I think maybe we've been living in something of a fool's paradise this year, playing against an utterly abject South Africa and an Australian side that only began to come right toward the end of the RC. Ireland have given us a proper tickle up in 2 matches.

absolutely true. SH is on a dip for the moment.

Some q's
-Whats going on with Cole? he is not at his usual best
-Good return from Whitelock and Retallick. Suspect they were not ready for 80min.
-Savea & Kane very good. Unbelievable energy from Save but he must make sure he nails the first tackle
-Read is also not at his best. Did he had a good super season?
-Perenara is better then Smith. Very very good.and gutsy. A thinner version of Weepu.
-Both Cruden and Barrett tackled very well. Very good in attack and defense.
-ALB good in defense and attack
-Fekitoa makes mistakes but he has skills.

The BBC post for the game is utter shite.
They raise an issue about BB try without mentioning that Sexton almost took BBs neck home with him.

I'll take it. Next up is France. Oz just rolled them but France have some tasty counter attack going on, foiled only by Spedding playing with blinkers on like a big clysdale with an erection. At the conclusion of the game, all the Fijian boys from both teams got together for a group prayer. 8 of them. I assume it was for Isireli Temo (see thread here: http://www.rugbyrebels.co/board/viewtop ... =28&t=1304). Nice touch.

Geeze that was absolutely painful, half the Irish pub were asking the owners to turn the commentary down it was so embarrassing. Refereeing wise I thought both sides had plenty to complain about which is not a great sign, thought Smith was hard done by to be a straight yellow and was astonished that a) Barrett's try was awarded for grounding and b) the tackler wasn't given a yellow for two arms targeting the neck and rolling. I think a) was given to avoid b), but that just may be me being cynical.

Anyway, moving on I thought Ireland were great, its probably the lowest possession we have had in a long while. Second half was 80-20 or something ridiculous. Thought A Savea was tops and Barrett was outstanding, whilst A Smith's troubles off the field have definitely stopped his on-field exploits in their tracks, unfortunately,
